Samuel C. Johnson Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support and encouragement to a graduating senior from Drummond High School attending Northland College on a full-time basis. The scholarship will be awarded to one student each academic year and will cover full tuition. The recipient will only have responsibility for student fees, course fees, and housing and meal plans, when applicable. The scholarship can be renewed annually for three additional years, contingent on the student maintaining good standing both academically and as a member of the Northland College community.

The recipient of the Samuel C. Johnson Family Scholarship will be selected by representatives of the Northland College Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid, as well as a representative from Drummond High School. Graduating high school seniors must complete this application for consideration. Priority will be given to students who apply by February 1^st.

The scholarship will be awarded based on an evaluation of the following requested criteria:

Academic performance and achievement
Extracurricular activities
Community service
Statement of purpose written by the applicant
Letter of recommendation from a teacher or school administrator

When applicable, applicants will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have it sent to Northland using our school code (003875).
